It's Monday, and I took the day off from work to continue working on JP29. Today, we put the "cherry on top" and applied the door decals, the jeep logos, and the 4.0 decal as well.

We also installed the rear fog lights and wired them up, installed the restored door panels and reassembled the rest of the jeep. The Jeep is looking more and more like it was fresh off the show room floor!

I was able to find a Sahara rear seat on eBay so that will be installed once it arrives. I also ordered a new soft top, green carpet, and a light bar that will also be installed when they arrive.

Can't wait to take JP29 on its first drive around town!

We kept moving along today and applied all of the stripes, and stencils as well as painted the rims. The hood stamp is a stencil as well as the numbers on the sides so they are permanent. We also painted and restored all of the black parts like the front and rear bumper, wipers, door handles, soft top framing and rails, basically any part that was originally black got a fresh coat of black paint. If you're going to repaint a vehicle, its a must to repaint everything else so its uniform like a brand new car! We also painted the door panels sahara green and applied my world famous custom made door pouches! Available to purchase in my store.

Laying down the stripes are always the most stressful part of the build so i'm relieved that part is finished. Next is to apply all of the decals, and trim pieces. The end is near!

New Jeep project JP29

The new project is moving right along! I decided to build my third Jurassic Park Jeep, and this time I chose number 29 because it was used in both Jurassic Park, AND Jurassic World! JP29 is the hero car in Jurassic World that the kids found in the old visitors center and used it to get them to safety!

The screen accurate sand beige has been applied for a few days now so it can cure, and now I laid down all of the stripes and stencils in preparation to apply Ford Performance red. So far, minimal imperfections!
